plastic dissolved with use!

The little aiming cup part on top dissolved after the second ever use. Like actually dissolved there's just a giant hole in the middle and the remainder of the piece fell off because so much of it just disappeared from melting away. It was kind of disturbing to think of what plastic pollution must have been atomized into my face and nose from the dissolved plastic. I don't know why they used plastic that would melt around steam on the part the steam directly touches. I did not use essential oils, I used filtered water according to the directions in the box so the problem isn't user error. This is also too expensive for a product you can only safely use once.
