Narrow waist and very long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered based on the measurement guide (Im a 28/29 depending on the fit) and ended up with a pair of pants that were very small waisted (and my waist is very narrow!) and too long (I am 5'8"). The fit was just weird-- I love high waisted pants but these aren't like the typical high waist that works for a curvy/athletic body. I had to return despite loving the color. I was tempted to go up a size but I had a feeling that the tight thigh section was just not made for me.
