Extender works very well and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the funky washer/restrictor that was installed in it. This part is unnecessary as the restrictor in the shower head handles this function. Between the two there was almost no water. After disassembly I immediatly spotted the problem and, as the devise requires a washer, it took about 30 minutes to cut the center out of the restrictor/washer and reassemble. It works o.k. now. Lost about 45 minutes in installing the thing twice. Should be a warning and a normal washer supplied.
