I bought this blanket because it's cotton. I was having a terrible static problem with my new microfiber couch and I read natural fibers don't carry static as well. I washed it out of the package and it fell apart! The tassels are pretty much gone and I will be picking fibers out of my washing machine for days I'm sure. I'm drying it and I'll see what's left of the blanket that was over $30. It may be going back after this mess! Pics attached of the ball of fiber that I picked out of my washer and off the floor. There was quite a bit more that went right into the trash and more yet that's stuck to my clothes as I'm writing this.
