I happened to get this shade at the store for 19.99 and I'm incredibly happy. Here's the story: I ordered a custom shade from a different store, but that shade is going to take 8 weeks for them to make. In the interim, I wanted a cheap shade to cover my lamp. I happened into Lamps Plus and saw this shade for 19.99. Even though it was pretty, I thought it would be too dark and a little too big, but got it anyway since it was marked 19.99 and was the cheapest shade that would fit. When I got it home, it looked just as good as the sample custom shade I had fitted on the lamp prior to ordering my custom shade. I couldn't believe that a 20 dollar shade looked as good as a $217 dollar custom shade, but I did notice that this Lamps Plus shade had imperfections around the trim at the bottom. However, I was surprised at how perfect the inner lining and top and sides of the shade were and how luxurious the fabric felt. At that point, my mother said to me "that must be a second, because that's too nice a fabric and shade to only be 20 bucks". NOW I see that that's EXACTLY what happened. I happened to get this (and it was the only one at the store) for 20 bucks because its imperfect. Thought I'm not cancelling my order for my custom shade, I will definitely have to find a lamp for this beautiful one from Lamps Plus! Super happy.
