Honestly, they are just very uncomfortable. Size up. Seriously. For context, I need a very light absorption because I have an IUD. The padded portion of the crotch goes way too far up the back for me. The material is thick and tight. Too much for my needs. I’m VERY happy main stream brands are manufacturing period underwear though 🙏. Keep getting better please.

Work but they're unraveling after 3 washes!
I like the underwear, they do a great job for their purpose. The exception is that after the 1st wash two of the three in the set had seams that let go and there’s holes. After three washes several seams are unraveling and there’s threads loose all over.

Not enough pad
These are okay for the very end of a period at night. I wouldn’t trust them for daytime. The absorbent portion is a few inches too short in the front and it causes leaks. Coverage in the back is very high. Doesn’t make sense…. probably designed by a man.

I'll advice you size up. I'm normally a size L, got a size L and it was very tight. I bought it for a trip I went to and I honestly regretted it. On my lightest days I was bleeding brought it. I stained myself countless times making me feel so uncomfortable.

Not comfortable at all !!
The thick sewing part from behind is uncomfortable for my bottom. I have to stick two panty liners to cover that up and be able to sit on these without any discomfort.

Sizing and leak
I regret buying these. They run small, so imagine being bloated and trying to squeeze into one of these. They also leak like crazy. The stitching where the absorbency pad is at connects to the front, so if you leak onto the stitching, it's going to leak up the front. And the stitching is pretty thick so you have to have a really light flow or be at the end of your cycle to not leak through this. Don't buy these they suck.

Poor design
I bought these for occasional leaks when doing my sport. I already wear Hanes normal bikini underwear daily - size 9, so was excited to buy the light period underwear, because I felt confident they would fit the same. They do not. The waist band is really loose, and they ride up on my rear/backside way more than my normal hanes bikini underwear. Cut very lean - not what you want when you have your period. The worst part is that the protective part of these underwear does not extend far enough to the front. Women know that there will be wicking, and liquid will travel to the front as well, and the protective layer doesn't extend far enough in the front to catch that. So, a front "accident" is likely. I love my normal Hanes bikini underwear, so disappointed in these.

The U.S. size 7 according to the sizing chart measurements does not fit. You would have to be a U.S. size 4 to fit in these!

Waste of money
Totally junk quality. Gusset is fine and comfortable but seams are crap and rip after a few wears. Tried to stitch but ripped. I’ll spend money on the quality brands of period underwear. 2 of 3 pairs waist band ripped after 2 or 3 wears.

Sadly, not a good fit for me
I was very disappointed in the size of the gusset. It doesn't even cover my labia so it's useless for period protection. There's so much gusset in the back that I feel like I'm wearing a diaper. I wish I could return them because they are too uncomfortable to wear. It's such a shame because I love all my other Hanes products and was really looking forward to a more affordable period option.

Amazing but did rip!
I love these, I bought 4 packs. They are so amazing for every day moisture and sweat. I used to wear a thin lightdays panty liner every day, sometimes 2 a day but no more with these!!!! I haven't tried them for menstruation though. I wash them in a garment bag inside out, and hang to dry. However like many reviews say; I did have a side deal rip open after only 3 washings. I’m 5’4 and 120 lbs and got the size 5, they are not tight on me at all so I don’t think it was due to being stretched out…I took a needle and used the thread coming off of it to sew up the side, they are so cheap compared to the brands that charge $30 a pair that it’s worth it to me to Just sew it up if it rips again.

Excellent value and comfort
I tried several brands of period parties and found these to be very very comparable to the more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost. I wash them in a mesh laundry bag inside out and hang to air dry. I’ve only washed them a handful of times but I am hoping this prevents them from falling apart like many reviews said happened. I’m only wearing these for every day moisture and sweat absorption so I can’t speak to how well they work for periods but they are working amazing for what I bought them for which was to stop using a daily light days pad for sweat and moisture absorption.
