We used these to replace 1970’s-style white globe ceiling lights in a hallway. These add more interest. The 60-watt equivalent LED bulbs from Lamps Plus provide plenty of light, and are cooler than others. A big improvement!

I bought 5 of these ceiling fixtures which I installed in a long hallway in my apartment. Believe me they look like mini moons using a 60 w bulb, although you can go higher for a different effect. The look is rather enchanting.
