Shrinks badly

I bought a 3XL of this shirt but it has shrunk shorter every time it's been washed -- about 4 inches so far! I use cold water and the low setting on my dryer so I know it's not my fault. Very disappointing as it was a gift for my husband and he loved it. The fabric is nice and soft and comfortable, but I cannot recommend this shirt because of the shrinking issue.
