Austere 2 Seat Recliner Sofa Gray - Signature Design by Ashley: Nailhead Trim, Polyester Upholstery

Really pretty but seats are hard. Will need some breaking in.

We've had this sofa over 3 years with 2 kids and a heavy rambunctious dog and it has been fantastic.

I have this exact sofa and needed a new one so I pulled the model number from the tag on my existing one. I was surprised that they still made the exact one so I bought 2 of them! The 2 couches were delivered and look the same so I sat on it and quickly realized that it is considerably smaller than the original. I wondered why the price was the same as the first one I bought 3 years ago and now I know. Make it smaller, keep the same model number and there is a manufacturing cost reduction and an increased profit margin. Way to go Ashley...you can fool some of us some of the time but not all of us. Also never buy the extended warranty. I tried to use it and everything the salesman tells you is false and will not be covered. Forgot to mention that one of the recliners is broken and have been trying to get that fixed for nearly a month now. We all work hard for our money and this will be my last Ashley purchase after being a loyal customer for 20+ years. I will try Lazy boy or rooms to go in the future.

It’s not that comfortable but I didn’t really have much of a choice because of the global supply chain issue.

We love that it is sofa sized with both sections reclining. No middle seat that doesn’t get to lay back. The size and comfort are perfect for us!

They don’t stay together as it shows in the picture. After using for about a month or so the center is so apart that you can see everything n bottom of the couch.

It broke the day it was delivered. The first time sitting on the left side and pulling it out, it’s like it got stuck. You really have to jiggle and adjust the left side to get it to open. The right side works like a charm but the left opens only slightly and then you have to like pull the foot rest to the left and it will come out but then the back rest is stuck so you have to get up and push that side to get it to recline. You can’t do it sitting like you can on the right. I was really excited about this couch and it was like…less than awesome. I am trying to reach out for a replacement because this is ridiculous.

The couch is very comfortable and reclines nicely. It does sit up a bit high which I'm not sure can be adjusted or not.
