I take 300 mg of Pantothenic Acid daily to enhance circulatory system health, specifically to reduce LDL cholesterol levels and subsequently reduce plaque buildup in arterial walls. This is a good alternative to taking niacin for the same reason, as niacin may have very unpleasant flushing and itching effects of the skin.

This is the precursor for acetyl co a in the body which mainly functions to metabolize lipids in the body among many other functions. Hormones are a form of cholesterol which is a lipid.
