Curly hair needs some help after it has been slept on. This product is great in morning if not washing my hair. Sometimes I use it on it's own and sometimes I also spray on with water if more of an adjustment/frizz control, curl definition is needed. Not sure if it would be strong enough for course/thick curly hair. My hair if very curly but kind of soft/fine.
