I bought a similar light fixture from a big box store and spent HOURS swearing and sweating and finally giving up because it was IMPOSSIBLE to install. I've been doing this kind of thing all my life and no one cared how upset I was. After returning it and sulking for a while, I found this, was able to read the installation instructions right on the web site, and bought it. My husband swore he had PTSD from the last fixture, so it took a while for us to go for it, but it's been brightening up the kitchen for a while now and I'm very happy. Just FYI, the type of fixture appealed to us as we age and got tired of climbing a ladder to take our entire fixture apart to change a bulb. This one: reach in, unscrew dead bulb, and replace. I recommend this and may get similar for some other areas.

Looks nice in my foyer and is good quality. Even though I bought it on sale, I thought it was still a little pricey.
