  • A: We have several different pull-up bars. The Wall-Mount and Lite versions require screws. The Multi-Grip, Multi-Grip Light and Foldable versions do not. They rest on the top of the door jam and can be installed and removed easily. Thank you -PSF Team

    Sturdy issues

    I was disappointed with this pull-up bar. Although it looked sturdy in the pictures, it felt unstable during use and would shift slightly with each repetition, which made me nervous. The grips started wearing out sooner than expected, and the bar left marks on my door frame despite following the installation instructions. It also didn’t fit my standard doorway as well as advertised, making installation frustrating. Overall, it works for basic use, but I don’t feel confident recommending it because of the stability and durability issues.

    Sturdy Pull-Up Bar

    My husband was looking for a pull-up bar to use at home, and I am so glad we went with this one! It was super easy to put together and get put up, is easy to take down when we want to close the door, and is very sturdy. You can tell that it is made from quality material, and the grip part is perfect for comfort while still giving solid hold while doing pull-ups or holds.

    showed up missing pieces

    chin up bar arrived late, showed up missing pieces needed for installation. reallly annoying. won't be ordering from Target again. For what its worth, if you look closely 95% of the reviews of this item (and I assume many others) are from a third party. Don't waste time / money with these clowns. Go to a store, buy the thing you need instead.

    Great for traveling

    This is perfect for keeping my calisthenics routine up while working out of town. Not only for pull ups but for leg lifts to work my abs. It's strong and has several hand position options without having to remove my ab straps. ProsourceFit has awesome customer service. I received an email concerning my shipment just to make it was deliverable to my location. It shipped fast.

    Decent product

    My pull up bar came in a box that was basically destroyed and re tapped up. I figured the shipping carrier messed it up but that was not the case. The box actually had been opened and then returned. They even left the return invoice in it before sending it to me. The stencil for mounting on the wall was ripped almost in half and useless. The pull up bar is good and all but the appeal to the eye wasn’t there. Ideally it works and I don’t fall off the wall mid set.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far (about a week of regular use), so good. Solid construction when put together and was the only door frame pull up bar that is wide enough for my apartment's bigass doors. The nuts at the top part that hooks above the door frame left some divots in the drywall but that was remedied easily enough by putting some padding over them. All-in-all happy with my purchase.

    Sturdy Pull Up Bar

    This was a Christmas gift from my son. The product is solid and sturdy in the doorway frame. The multiple hand positions allows you to work various muscle groups in the back and shoulders. Easy to assemble and use. Really helps in my (at home) fitness routine. I'm 63 yrs. old and both pull ups and push ups are key activities to improve my upper body conditioning.
