Pumpkin was Tasteless and the crust was like cardboard

Terrible pie! Crust isnt baked all the way and there wasnt any pumpkin flavor. The filling was gummy and chewy. GMO warning on package.

Absolutely vile. This went into the trash immediately. The texture of the filling is more like mashed sweet potatoes. It's hard to get beyond that but the crust is not baked? It's so very white except for the top of the pie. Avoid at all costs. The apple is so much better.

A crumbly, tasteless crust, and a small, thin layer of pumpkin. Not very good at all.

This pie is horrible. No spice. And the crust is not even attached the to the pie. It separates and is gooey. Get a pie somewhere else.

So disappointed with this pie. Took one bite and was disgusted. Sticky and flavorless and just fake tasting. Eww. The worst pumpkin pie I've ever tasted. Please do better Target.

Horrible pumpkin pie filling!! It was bland and didn’t have that pumpkin spice sweet taste. Also the filling was thick. Never again will I buy these pies at target for thanksgiving.

Tried this pumpkin pie in a pinch and I should have listened to the reviews. its awful, very paste like and gummy. I chopped into little pieces, tossed it out to the critters in the woods and recycled the pie tin.

New recipe? Better try again. Crust is middling. Flavor is inconsistent and odd. Texture is not appetizing. Won’t buy again.

Not really a review writer but I like the pie a lot !!! It’s not overly sweet which I like and I personally prefer a thicker, flakier crust over a soft and soggy one.

Loved this pie last year, was really looking forward to it this fall. Unfortunately they have changed the recipe and the texture is off. It’s more like a thick pudding, doesn’t have as much spiced flavoring, and much less sweet. Was a perfect pie last year, and cheaper than buying the ingredients to make at home… guess I’ll get back to baking.

Super dry crust , lacks flavor

Crust was super hard, thick, and flavorless. Pie filling was not flavorfulful either. I love pumpkin pie but do not recommend this one at all. Hopefully they switch back to the old recipe. It was much better in previous years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pumpkin pie was really yummy! It has a bit of a gelatinous consistency to it but I don’t mind that. I don’t like pumpkin pie that is runny. It has a good balance of spice and sweet and makes a great alternative to a really sweet dessert. The crust is great too and this really is a perfect way to save yourself some time and effort during the holidays by purchasing a pie!

I love pumpkin pie but hadn’t had one in a few years. I was thinking I was going to go to the supermarket but ended up at target instead and decided to get one here. I did see the label on the box that said improved recipe but after taking a bite of this pie I cannot imagine what the previous version could’ve been like. When I opened it up and put the knife in to cut it I could tell something was really odd about it. It was extremely thin and almost plastic texture not like any pumpkin pie I have ever had and it was very offputting. Did not eat more than two bites just to try to figure out what was going on with it so I can’t really say much on the flavor other than it was so unlike any pumpkin pie I’ve ever had before I couldn’t even start to describe it other than it was a complete waste of money and I am definitely never going to recommend a pie from this company again.

It’s ok. It’s a pie that’s your last resort because all of the stores are sold out. I don’t like the new recipe. It definitely has a thick filling that seems a little rubbery. Last year’s recipe was better. It does have a little pumpkin spice to it. I won’t purchase it again unless I’m truly in need of a pie.

if baby food was a pie, this would be it. the texture is real mushy and doesn't taste good

This is just okay. It's a little flat and the crust is not great. You can eat it if you nothing else but I think the pumpkin pie at Safeway is better. I would recommend for a regular meal but not for Thansgiving.
