Smells awful
I noticed a strong smell upon opening the package, single paper envelope. But I didn't think much of it until I went to read it with my daughter a little while later. It smells awful, like beyond the usual fresh ink print smell that some books have. I'm a little worried the book may have absorbed some kind of exhaust in the process of shipping, IDK. I've got it fanned out to see if that helps, but if not, I'll probably just go to a local book retailer for another copy.

It was so poorly manufactured and bound that it is not readily usable by young children (the target audience, and for adults to read all the text), since it cannot be held fully open to see all text and for children to self discover the illustrations that are caught tightly in the binding.
