G.M. Taboas Zayas es una escritora y editora que vive en la ciudad de Nueva York. Nacida y criada en Puerto Rico, con una Maestría en Bellas Artes (MFA), escribe fantasía y horror para los jóvenes. Le encanta el chocolate, las películas que no sean demasiado aterradoras y los dibujos animados.

G.M. Taboas Zayas is a writer and editor living in New York City. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she is an MFA graduate who writes young adult fantasy and horror, loves chocolate, not-too-scary movies, and cartoons.

Her works have been translated into English, Italian, Portuguese, Croatian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Chinese, among other languages. In turn, she has translated more than 200 books into Spanish from other authors, such as the Dr. Seuss series, Curious George, Amelia Bedelia, among others. She has received numerous awards and recognitions in the fields of literature and education-- in 2011, she was chosen as one of the 25 most influential women in the Hispanic world by People en español magazine.
