About the Author

Rachel Ashwell founded the iconic Shabby Chic brand in 1989. Her online store offers high quality furniture, bedding, decor and flea-market finds. Rachel's products can also be found globally at major retailers. In 2011 Rachel opened "The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell"--a bed and breakfast in Texas. Her previous titles published by CICO Books are Rachel Ashwell: Shabby Chic Interiors, Rachel Ashwell: Shabby Chic Inspirations and Beautiful Spaces, Rachel Ashwell: Couture Prairie, and Rachel Ashwell's Painted Stories. She is based in Los Angeles.
