A: Hi, Lizzieb! Yes, the Rain-X Original Treatment can be used on glass shower doors. For best results, clean and dry the doors first. Then apply Rain-X and wipe firmly across the glass surface with a dry cloth, buffing out any hazing.

A: Hi! The 16oz Original Treatment only provides Rain-X water repellency to your windshield. You will have to use another product to clean the windshield before using the Original Treatment product. The 23oz 2-in-1 product will clean the glass and apply the water repellency solution in one application.

A: Clean and dry surfaces before treating Apply in temperatures above 40 degrees F Apply Rain‑X® to a small, folded, dry cloth Wipe onto exterior glass using a firm, circular and overlapping motion Allow product to dry; a slight haze may appear Reapply Rain‑X® to ensure complete and uniform coverage Remove final haze with a dry cloth or by sprinkling water onto the haze and wiping with a paper towel

Sticky windows..?
If I could go back in time, I would’ve begged my past self not to purchase and put this product on my perfectly functioning car. My windows constantly look dirty now. Dust sticks to them even after car washes. I’m disappointed and hope I will be able to remove this off my windows.

Rain-X works great to clean your windshield, windows and mirrors. I use it when detailing my cars and also in the winter when I don’t have my hoses hooked up. Spray and use a paper towel to get the initial grime off, then spray and buff with a microfiber cloth. Exterior use only!

Better than a windshield wipers! If you think the glass is foggy after applying it, you didn’t set it correctly, look at the directions again or you haven’t waited long enough, look at the directions again. I have never had a visibility problem with then, in fact improves it tremendously during down pours.

So so I’ve used it as directed. Definitely works better if you spray it on a towel and apply, then dry it out with a clean towel. Even with this method you can see a film over the glass. It does however help with rain so that part is good. Would definitely just buy a glass cleaner next time.

This allows me to leave off my wipers and see better than ifthey were on. If you are traveling over 40mph this product replaces the pain of windshield wipers. I don't travel long distances without it.

Too much streak and a strong smell
It has a very strong chemical smell. I am also disappointed by the amount of streak that it leaves behind. I went to the car wash washed my car, dried the windows with a dry cloth and applied the product following the directions but nothing in this world removed the streak, now my windows look like is dirty or that I cleaned doing a poor job. Haven't got the chance to try it in the rain yet but I'm already not excited at all about it because I hate having my car looking dirty. I am definitely not planning on use it again.

Didnt work foe my use.
I purchased this to repel water from my back French doors. The sun hits them in the afternoon and I can see every smudge so I thought “if this works for a car windshield, it’ll work for me too”. It looked like I smeared olive oil on my windows. Not the look I was going for. I read the instructions and applied to a clean window and then buffed it out. Simply didn’t work for me. When I went back the next day to clean/wipe it off it repealed great so it works but isn’t giving me the clean window I was going for. Not sure if use on my car since it’s so smudgy.

Kind of a hassle to apply as it immediately starts streaming down the windshield/windows after spraying, even with a light application. But once you get it on there, it does bead water very effectively, improving visibility and significantly reducing how much I needed to use my wipers. Will probably be using rain repellent for life.

Great product in the rain
This really helps repel the water and rain! I got it because my car is older. And the windshield isn't as smooth with all the rock chips. So my wiper blades aren't very effective in the rain. It seems to just smear the rainwater. But with this spray, I have much more visibility! I don't even have to use the wiper blades as often. When the droplets become big enough, they just glide off my windshield. I can finally see!
