Colleen Paeff writes award-winning picture books from a book-lined office in an old pink house with a view of the Hollywood sign. Hina Abidi was thrilled and fascinated by the imposing, elaborately painted trucks she saw as a child growing up in Pakistan. Now, she visits Pakistan every year, traveling off the beaten path, meeting local people, and learning about their diverse artistic and cultural traditions. She values the friendships she has developed through her travels and loves to share the stories she has collected over the years. Hina lives in Los Angeles, California, surrounded by an assortment of rescued dogs and cats.
