Q: Can this be used with induction stovetops?

  • A: Since it is just a protective cover that is removed when the stove is in use it doesn't matter if it is an induction stove nor not. So you can use this on an induction stove.

  • A: No, this can easily be wiped clean. This is 100% rubber with a polyester top and should not be put in the dishwasher. The nylon top is very easy to clean.

Q: Can you place it on the cooktop while the burner is still warm? And, do I understand correctly, that it works as a trivet, so you can place hot pans on it?

Purchased this Range Kleen cover for my new electric cooktop stove. I haven’t purchased a new stove for more than 25 years and I was pretty protective of it. This cover fits perfectly and is so easy to wipe clean. I actually brought another one to cover the glass top of my new washing machine also. They protect things, look good and will last for a long time. Thank you for this great product. Would highly recommend this item for those that want to protect their expensive large appliances.

I love my StoveShield! I own a Samsung Smoothtop and it fits my range perfectly! While I do love that it protects my range from possible damage (especially with cabinet full of cookbooks above it), I most often use it to extend the serving space available in my small kitchen.
