Flavor was good, but serving size was 4 with six meatballs which was disappointing at 1.5 meatballs per person. The box does not lie, you see six, you get six so do not plan to have enough for a family of four.

These used to be some of the best meatballs, frozen or otherwise. I used to buy them once a week, but something has changed. They used to be so tender you could easily cut them with a fork. Now they're like little tennis balls. The flavor is also way different now. They taste like sausage and are way over-seasoned. You might get lucky enough to still find the old version. Check the "best by" date. Anything in June 2025 or before is good, after that they're awful. Just tested one last night(BB:10/2026) and had to throw them away after the first bite. A real shame.

Too expensive for what you get. There is six meatballs with some sauce. It claims to be 4.5 servings. The sauce is ok. The meatballs are dense and don’t have little flavor.

I grew up in an Italian family - one doesn't buy frozen meatballs in sauce. However, these were on sale, it was late, and I needed something to eat in my hotel room. I was definitely surprised. I would buy these again. They were extremely flavorful, and I especially liked the inclusion of fennel. The sauce-to-meatball ratio was great, and the meatballs were fairly large. One star deducted because the tray started to disintegrate in the microwave and because the meatballs were slightly dense and difficult to cut.

Raos is my FAvorite spaghetti sauce so when I saw this, I HAD to get. I will have to agree, unfortunately, with the other reviews. The sauce is the best! Hands down favorite is on point. The meatballs however, the texture and consistency is spongy… Definitely not your usual cut with your fork and/or crumble in your mouth like a normal meatball… very bouncy and chewy… spongy.

The price scared me a bit when I first purchased, but these are actually on par with the best meatballs I’ve had in restaurants. Two is the perfect portion size, and it includes a good amount of sauce in the pan. I keep these in the freezer at all times for an easy meal, and keep it protein heavy with a small serving of pasta and a salad. The cook time is just under an hour, so not the quickest easy dinner if that’s your thing. However I will never buy a different brand of meatballs.
