Now with a self filling we can add more when needed and it will blend perfectly with our décor and not stand out ugly grey. I can not wait for the snow to melt

It almost looks like wicker. It has a spot to fill with sand or water. It has the part that holds the umbrella with a screw to tighten it to the umbrella. I believe a 7-9 ft wide umbrella would be ideal. The base is small enough to use with a table that you put an umbrella through. Overall, it's simple, easy to use, and looks nice!

I have rattan outdoor furniture so I was looking for a similar product to match my patio furniture and the Backyard Expressions was a perfect match! In addition to being a quality product, it fit my needs perfectly as I like to store my umbrella and stand when not in use. The fillable stand makes filling and emptying quick and efficient. When empty, it is light enough for me to move and store in my storage rack. Just what I was looking for. I could not be happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well made product. This should keep my patio umbrella from falling over every time it gets windy. It's easy to use, just remove the screw on cap, fill it with sand or water and you're good to go. When filled with water or sand it weighs about 50 lbs. and should prevent most umbrellas from running away. It has a handle which makes carrying a little easier and a pipe with a adjustable knob to tighten and fit most 6 to 10 foot umbrellas.

You can fill it with sand or water. It is 18" and very nice looking. Has a adjustable knob to tighten to hold umbrella pole. I especially like that I can move this where I need it and not have to have a huge table to hold my umbrella.
