A: The lights on the wheel are designed to activate when the scooter is in motion. However, you can remove the three AAA batteries from the deck. Please refer to page 4 of the owner's manual.

A: To turn, lean slightly in the desired direction. The “tilt-to-turn” front wheels and axle will cause the scooter to turn.

If you’re thinking about getting this for your toddler do it! It’s a bike/scooter in one. Assembly is so easy, if they want it to be a scooter it’s one step to take off the seat. My 4 year old loves it and if I had known of this sooner I would have gotten it for her when she was two. Best purchase I’ve made as a ride on for my toddler.

Good scooter with seat but some small flaws
The scooter is a decent scooter. The hand grips are very soft and comfy and the tilt to steer is great for a beginner scooter rider. We haven’t tried the seat option but I’m glad it has it in case we want to use it. It does require batteries to light up the base of the scooter, which is very fun. Wheels also light up but one of them doesn’t work sometimes. Reached out to customer service and they were very easy with sending new wheels, unfortunately they were the wrong color but not a big deal.

It barely moves
The handles and wheels are so stiff that there's no fluidity. I get that it's a training scooter, but golly! I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either.

Doesnt turn with handles
Cute scooter but the handles do not make the scooter turn either way making it near impossible for a little kid to use. If I would have know that I wouldn’t have bought it.

Poor quality
Razor no longer makes a quality product. We’ve gone through two sets of batteries in 24 hours. The brake is useless. It’s hard to turn. THE SQUEAKING.

I like the scooter for my 44” tall 3 year old that’s 58 lbs. the only thing is the seat… I wish it could be folded down versus having to uninstall it.
