Description

First, they test it out down the hallway. Then, it’s out onto the driveway. Before you know it, they’re asking to ride their Jetson Gem 3 wheel kick scooter everywhere – because once they get the hang of it, riding this kick scooter is just plain fun. It’s a quick path to scooter comfort and confidence on the Gem, thanks to how smoothly it rolls and how stable kids feel on its sturdy 3-wheel base. Once momentum picks up, the lean-to-steer turning functionality comes easy, as does using the rear foot brake. When growth spurts happen, the handlebar can be raised to several different heights. My 3 yo loved it, however this scooter is not made to last at all. My older son just stood on this scooter by mistake and the whole front wheel snapped completely off. (He’s 12.) A little concerning on how easy the scooter broke/buckled under weight greater than 45 pounds. Definitely made of all cheap plastic materials.

It's says you need to lean to turn, but the age it is made for doesn't weigh enough to be able to make it turn when they lean. The quality, color, etc. are all great. The fact that my 4.5 year old can't turn it is tlfruatrating for her and me. I even tried to get it to lean and it's hard for me as an adult. Sadly for this reason I would not recommend. Its all my daughter wanted for Christmas. Find one that turns, not this one.

Junk! Don’t waste money on this. I’ve tried to connect with the company for a replacement wheel which popped off first day of using. Company offers a limited warranty but good luck getting them to fulfill. I also learned through the automated responses filing a claim the wheels were recalled. Why is it still being sold? Use extreme caution allowing kids to ride.

It was extremely frustrating to have my three year old open this today (Christmas morning) excited to see her purple scooter from Santa, only for us to open the box and find the handle bar and stem are not in the package.
