A: Target is the primary retailer of this product; it is not sold on Micro’s direct website any longer. This version is less-colorful than the Deluxe version and does not feature any graphics or raised silicone branding on the deck (standing platform). Aside from the deck and cosmetics, the scooters are otherwise the same size, have the same wheels, feature the same weight limit and height adjustability, etc.

A: While these two scooters are largely similar, there are some differences to note: Stem: The Maxi Original has an aluminum handlebar stem. The Maxi Deluxe has an anodized stem which protects the scooter from corrosion. Deck: The Maxi Original has a plain deck. The Maxi Deluxe has silicone-injected writing on the deck which acts as a grip to provide children with more secure footing when scooting. Multiple Options: The Maxi Original comes in one style with multiple color options. The Maxi Deluxe is available as the Maxi Deluxe - Folding, and Maxi Deluxe LED, in addition to the regular Maxi Deluxe, all available in our latest color combinations. Design: Each Maxi Original scooter has a black stem, with one accent color throughout. Our Maxi Deluxe scooters offer the freshest color combinations, and are overall more colorful. Accent colors can be found on the stem of the T-bar, and the silicone grip on the deck. The T-bar base color also matches that of the deck. Added Safety: The Maxi Original is suitable for ages 5-12. The Maxi Deluxe is also made for ages 5-12, and comes with reflectors near the rear wheel of the scooter for added visibility.

A: The front wheels are indeed lean-to-steer. The handlebar does not twist like what you'd find on a bicycle. This type of steering is very fun for kiddos and is also very safe!

A: Hi! The Maxi Kick LED scooter sold at Target is very similar to the Maxi Deluxe LED. The two major differences are only cosmetic: the T-bar and deck. The Maxi Deluxe LED has a colorful T-bar to match the deck and the deck has our "Micro" logo. The Kick version has a black handlebar with some color accents and a plain, plastic deck. A: All you will have to do is pop-in the (removable) handlebar-- no other assembly required. You may need to adjust the height of the handle, something that only takes a few seconds. Cheers!

Perfect for my autistic 10 year old

My daughter is autistic ,and has a very hard time balancing on a regular two wheel scooter. This scooter is a little more expensive than say the razor brand, but this one has three wheels, which makes it so easy for her to use. It also has a higher weight limit than most scooters that have three wheels. We’ve tried other brand scooters, and she would ride them a couple times and absolutely hate it because she just could not get the hang of it. This one is a winner! I can’t keep her off of it. We love it so much that I ended up ordering the micro mini for my toddler.

I picked this up from target and the box was destroyed. I thought it was going to fall apart when I picked it up to take into the house. I opened the box and the cardboard inside was broken. Clearly a returned item. I bought this as a gift for someone and no way I can give it this way. Will be returning.

Definitely a great addition to our outside toys. My kiddo loves this scooter. This was a size upgrade and took her a little getting used to because of how it moves. It did not take her long and once she got the hang of it she soared. Quality seems good, hoping it will last a couple years.

I bought this scooter as a gift for my son, and I was disappointed with the condition it arrived in. The box was very beat up, and when I opened it, the scooter was dusty and looked like it had already been used. I took it back to the store hoping to exchange it, but they didn’t have any replacements available so I ended up keeping it. But I don’t understand why Target continues to sell items that appear reused or repackaged as new. The scooter itself is fine, but the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing.
