Q: Just purchased skates and my child slides around pretty quickly. Is there anyway to slow down the glide of the wheels? I'm surprised there isn't that much traction for beginner skates.

A: You may be able to tighten the screws in the wheels slightly. That should help slow them down if they are not already tightened.

Good for toddlers but max size is 9, definitely won’t go farther than that. The skates do lock with the straps, we ended up using thicker slippers rather than shoes to grip the skates better I would say don’t get these if your kid is determined to go fast right away.

says size 11-2 adjustable sizes. the skate does adjust and it's pretty simple to do however the boot your child's foot goes in, inside the skate does not adjust. therefore her foot is being squeezed by the boot while theres an extra inch of skate in the front. will be returning.

I love that these are adjustable for various sizes. My 7 year old daughter loves that they have unicorns on them. In 3 days she has skated nonstop! It took us a few times to figure out the latches, but since then she's been able to do them on her own.
