A: Yes, you can push the button near the 'teeth' of the buckle strap. The strap will release and you can adjust for a better fit.

These roller skates are perfect for my 4-year-old. I was a little wary reading reviews of the sizing being off, but it seems to be accurate for us. The skates are very sturdy and I like how wide-set the wheels are. My child has gone from being a complete novice to being able to balance fairly well in just a couple days. Great for learning, but not durable.
We’ve only had these a week and they’ve been great for my 4 and 6 year old to learn to skate. However, if you’re learning on concrete, the plastic is hardly durable. See photos. I’m concerned they may crack before we fully get our time out of these since they’re adjustable. They may run a bit small as well. My oldest is in a 1.5 and they’re snug on the largest setting which should be a 2. I kept them only because they seemed better for learning.
