A: The best way to know which size will fit your son is to measure his foot. The Training Skate comes in two sizes... Size Small (J10-J13) which is meant for children with feet measuring 7.5 - 8.3in in length ...AND... Size Medium (1-4) which is meant for children with feet measuring 8.3 - 9.3in in length

A: If he is wearing J6 shoes, it seems he may be a bit too small for these skates. The smallest size available is adjustable from size J10-J13.
