Q: Do these skates have the anti - reverse setting like the original Fisher Price little skates had? (My daughter's skate, circa 1984) had a setting which prevented backward rolling.

I bought these skates for my 2 and 5 year old. They don't fit my five year olds size 10 feet and the straps don't stay on my 2 year olds feet. My five year old can take her shoes off and use the skates but I am disappointed they don't work as they should. I think these are over priced for what they are.

After 1 use at skating rink the painted characters are coming off both the skates and knee pads. One strap on the skate doesn’t work anymore. So disappointing!

I read the other reviews but decided to give them a try. Sure enough they didn’t fit over my 4 year old’s shoes. These skates are made for a 3 year old or younger. Otherwise, they seem pretty good. My tot wears a size 10 for comparison.

My son loves them! He's 3 1/2 & I plan to keep them forever. It has a sweet story behind them from his grandparents . No issues with the skates . I recommend to wear with socks at least but it can be worn with shoes or without. Great gift too! Kids will never get bored of them & they use motor skills !!!

Age and shoe size ranges are misleading. Bought for my three-year-old (shoe size 8). Skates were too small to fit around his shoes, and the straps were to short to secure around his ankles.

Wish I'd read the reviews before buying. Toddler sneaker size 8 doesn't fit in the skates. I feel like you'd only be able to use these if you're toddlers feet were tiny. Will be returning.

They are made to fit the foot and not the actual shoe. A size 10 sneaker is too big for this skate and the straps won’t even come close to closing.

Very snug in the front. A size 8 toddler sneaker couldn't fit comfortably. The straps are also tight to the point where they barely closed.

The straps does not lock. I bought a pair before thinking that I may have purchased a defected pair but I repurchased the same pair months later and the same issue happened. Don’t waste your money.
