Q: Is this appropriate for a 6 year old, or is it a bit on the smaller side?

  • A: Hi Kurt - The Melo Beam should be more than comfortable for your 6 year old to use. The handlebars are adjustable and have a maximum height of almost 31" which will accommodate kids on the taller side too. The Beam also has a 110lb weight capacity and large 120mm wheels which allow bigger kids to move smooth and fast. Let us know if you have any other questions about the Beam and enjoy!

My kid's face lights up brighter than the scooter! It's easy to maneuver, and learning balance is a breeze thanks to the lean-to-steer feature. Only wish the handlebars could lock for when we store it.
