Q: Can this convert component (analog) video to HDMI (digital)? Or can it only convert digital to analog? Trying to get a DVD player with component output to play on a TV with only HDMI.

The adapter you would need for this would be the other way around and would feature a male HDMI to plug into the TV HDMI port.
