Worst purchase ever. Anyone considering this purchase should be aware of a shorter returnpolicy than usual for Apple tems from Target, which could result in the adapter being yet another electronic item sitting in a bin of cords.

Works just like you'd expect!
I bought this so my wife and I could plug our iPhones into to the HDMI cable that runs to our projector when we want to have little projector movie date nights while the kids watch their own shows somewhere else. This works great, and let's me even plug my phone in to charge while it's connected to the HDMI cable so I don't have to worry about running the battery down or it ruining the battery life of my phone whenever I do this. It's a bit pricey, but honestly anything Apple pretty much is, but this hands down will work 100 times better than any other option out there for a lightning iPhone. I give this a 10/10, definitely recommend, it's a great adapter and I'm really happy I ordered it, and I think you will be too!

Wonderful!
Let’s me stream movies from my iPad to my TV. The only thing I don’t like is I have to keep it plugged into the wall adapter to charge it for it to work but that’s not a terrible thing. So excited I finally purchased this.

Does not work
Item doesn’t work. It doesn’t mirror image from phone to tv. I’m not sure what the issue is but I’ve tried it on multiple devices and had no luck. I’ve read that it’s possibly due to recent software updates that don’t allow the device to mirror images many ppl have reported the issue to Apple but they’re still not correcting the problem.

Received an opened boxed item. Initially excited to get and when discovered item was opened my experience drastically turned sour. Item was used or returned and was resold as new to me. The hassle is the return process, it’s been close to a week for the replacement to ship.
