Here's why and what you can do instead: Why It Won't Fit The dealworthy™ USB-C Hub Adapter for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air is designed to sit flush and tight against the metal body of a naked MacBook, often plugging into two adjacent USB-C ports for stability and bandwidth. Case Thickness: Any standard hardshell case adds a small, rigid layer of plastic around the edges of the laptop. This added thickness prevents the hub's dual USB-C connectors from fully seating and making a solid connection with the laptop's ports. Perfect accessory
This adaptor is exactly what I’ve been needing for my MacBook. It plugs in perfectly and allows me to use a USB and microSD card reader on my MacBook Air that doesn’t have a USB port or card reader. It works perfectly and I haven’t had any issues with it disconnecting. It’s a solid metal material that I don’t feel like I’m going to break too.

Very useful
This little device doesn’t look like much but is super useful especially while traveling. It has several jacks of different sizes/types which makes it extremely versatile. My husband uses this all the time.

Performs as well as the more expensive brands
I received this Dealworthy 6 port Hub in exchange for my honest review. It arrived in packaging that was easy to remove the hub, unlike some difficult clamshell packages. The value of this is incredible and it performs as well as my original Apple branded hub. It has plenty of port for my MacBook Air to add external devices. Easy to travel with too.

Works well, but poor design
This is super handy and works well for all the different cords I may need to plug in. However, when it’s plugged in, my computer’s power cord input is blocked, so it can’t charge at the same time. If I’m at a full battery, it’s fine, but seems like a pretty big design flaw.

Not for pre-2018 Air
So far this has been a great addition for my MacBook Air. You should note that this needs the usb-c ports to plug in to so this will not work on older MacBook Airs prior to like 2018 because those don’t have usb-c ports.

This is a great little dongle that expands the ports on my MacBook. It fits beautifully, and even looks nice. It is perfect to keep in my bag as one item, instead of a bunch of different adapters. Love it!

Perfect in every way!
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this adapter. It's sleek design makes it easy to transport and use. This is exactly what I've been look for and had no idea such a wonderful design would be easily found at Target. I love my Mac - but not the fact that it has very little ports. This makes everything so much easier.

MacBook Pro MacBook Air Hub
This is a very good idea of a hub for my Mac however the connections were not great. It was hit or miss when I would plug the hub into my Mac. The blue light was on however the component's I had plugged in would not take a charge. I tried several times to make a connection. I had the most difficult time with the USB connection trying to charge my iPhone.

Nice addition
Works well give us the ability to add a mouse and use it when we are sitting at the desk. It’s slightly big, and won’t fit if you have a case, but if you are sitting with it you can safely take the case off. Definitely useful!

Great product
This product works very well connecting to my MacBook Pro. I plus it in and then it has the ability to connect to and charge other devices. It is very small, handy and works well. Would recommend this product.
