Sickening
This genuinely tasted like a mummified rat. If you've ever smelled roadkill or decaying corpse it tastes just like that. I don't know how they managed that.

Awful taste
I normally love this brand and have tried several of their flavors. Today was the first time I tried this protein shake and it was awful. I couldn't finish it. I don't even know how to describe the flavor other than acidic and repulsive.

What happened
I’ve been drinking their shakes for over a year and have noticed that they’ve been watering down their products to the point where it no longer taste the same. As for this Shake, I also had to throw them away! I couldn’t get past the flavor, it was horrible! I wasted $40. I’m not sure what’s going on with this brand but my guess is they’re reformulating going cheap.

Tasty Shake
I really liked these.I tried the chocolate, as that was the only flavor available, and every sip was delicious. Flavor was like a throw back to old, popular brands I used in the early 2000s, just better. My tastebuds didn’t catch any chalkiness, just went down like a typical bottle of protein, dare I say delicious. The good ingredients are also what made this a win for my needs.

Nasty flavor
I really enjoy Rebbl's other drinks and am not sure why this one tastes so so bad. It smelled like dirt and has such a nasty after taste I couldn't finish it.

Disgusting!
I've tried many plant based shakes. Some are good, some are not. These rank at the absolute bottom! I took two sips and threw them away. I hate being wasteful but there's no way I could finish these. They taste like pure chemicals. I did the same with the cookies and cream flavor. Straight to the trash.

Very strong and strange chemical taste that overpowered any chocolate flavor and had a bad lingering aftertaste. I’ve never thrown anything away before this as I normally tough it out, but this was too horrific for me to even take another sip

Go with the original Rebbl Protein products
For $2.99 for this upcycled barley and rice protein drink vs $4.99 for the original (mainly pea protein) Rebbl Protein products, I decided to try this out. The taste is not good vs the original. It leaves a very weird aftertaste too. I'm assuming the flavor change came from the protein types. Opt for the original for $2 more instead of this one if you're a fan of Rebbl.

I bought both the vanilla and chocolate versions of this, the neither of these are drinkable to me. Maybe I got an off batch, but it tastes like I’m drinking straight stevia but I can really only taste the bitter artificial part? It’s gross. If you’re going to try it don’t buy more than one.

Absolutely disgusting
As someone who actually enjoys protein shakes, unfortunately this one was really hard to drink. I have tried just about every brand and flavor of protein shakes, both ready to drink and powder, and this was definitely in the top three of the worst ones I have ever tried. it tasted like chocolate Pepto-Bismol. Obviously, I finished it because it was three dollars, which is pretty expensive for protein shake, they are all expensive. I do not recommend at all.
