Unpleasant surprise…
Overall, we were a bit crestfallen when the package came. In our minds, we imagined those long old-school ropes we used to get at little league games and the movie theatre. What we got was shrunken in diameter and way shorter than we expected. Of course, the licorice itself is an awesome treat. I hope that one day you folks will bring back the long thick red ropes. And maybe one of those buckets with grape licorice!

Not the same as they used to be
The image on the package looks like the licorice ropes I remember and like, but the product itself is completely different. They are about half the diameter they used to be, the candy is sticky, and they taste like a knockoff twizzler! Horrible! I bought six bags for a nostalgia birthday party, but ended up throwing them all away. Not one person at the party liked them. Not one! Why did you change the recipe?

Still craving
I was very disappointed in these. I have been craving Super Ropes and decided to get these. I know they are not the Super Ropes but they are so skinny I was surprised. They didn't have the full flavor I was expecting either.
