returned "refurbished"desktop
I'm a gamer and was excited for this desktop. about an hour into gaming it would start making a high-pitched squealing noise and after a few hours of continuous use it would shutdown. I ran a performance test and it was getting a score of 11,000 when it's supposed to be scoring between 17,000 and 19,000. I narrowed down the squealing noise and issue to either the graphics card or the power supply unit which basically needs replacing. i have to assume that a refurbishing company receives information about defective products when they receive them, so to me that means they either didn't want to spend the money it was going to take to fix the problems and were trying to push a still defective product onto someone else in hopes they would keep it past the return date, or they are not actually a refurbishing company but are actually a reselling company.
