Q: Concerned that this won't be bright enough to give sufficient light in my bedroom, since there is only 1 bulb and it's covered in a milky glass, so what do you think?

A: Hi - you should get more than enough light with this design, but you can always use an LED bulb. LEDs provide more light for the same wattage used, so they will up the light output of the fixture. Just don't exceed the maximum bulb wattage for the socket, which in this case is 60 watts. Thanks for the question!
