Q: I just received this flat iron, decided to try - and in first use it has weird smell ...is it gonna fade away or there’s something wrong with my irons?
A: The "newness" odor will fade with use. It speed the process up you can heat the unit, unplug, then take a damp cloth to wipe the plates...repeat.
