Poor quality blades and foil replaced
Have used the Remington SPF-PF shaver for a few decades now with good results. Purchased new blade and foil head in July and they performed well for about one month and then began jerking the whiskers and taking 30 minutes to shave my face. Remington replaced the blades and foil and I began using them this AM with great results. We will now wait and see if the product holds up.

new spf-pf not good
I have been using remington spf-pf for a very long time. These new ones hurt. It is like the blade in the middle just grabs and yanks hairs. Something changed and not for the better.

A Decent, if Not Perfect, Head and Cutters.
This shaver head and cutter are satisfactory. I shave with it daily, and find it comfortable in the skin and quit easy to clean. I like that I can rinse the head and cutters under water. It also takes very little time to recharge. My only disappointment is that it doesn't provide a clean shave; I can always still feel slight stubble, and I've been shaving for many years and know how to maneuver the razor to achieve the best results.

Decline in SPS-PF quality?
I’ve been using the SPS-PF assemblies for years on two different razors and always got a smooth, comfortable shave. I recently replaced the assemblies on both and they occasionally pull at the whiskers rather than cutting smoothly. Not comfortable. Very disappointing.

Remington Electric Shaver Replacement Foil Review
The foils kept grabbing my facial hair around the corners, where they are not affixed to the frame. This was not the case for the original foils I'd bought them to replace, so I assume the manufacturing process has gotten worse.

Short life time for the foils.
Foil does not last long. I've had Remington shavers in the past and the foil lasted 1 to 2 years. Quality not the same now.

How do you figure out which head to buy???
I finally got one that fit on the second try --the razor had no numbers on it. One worked great - 5 stars; 1 did not fit No stars = average is 3 stars
