Description
The 4WCBM Series Waste Containers are the only bottom mount units available with the Rev-A-Shelf® patented Rev-A-Motion® soft-open soft-close slide system. The innovative gas spring assisted soft-open allows the unit to open smoothly and the soft-close shuts softly, even under the heaviest of loads.
All units feature metallic silver waste containers and built-in door-mount brackets and many have a removable wood bin in rear for bag storage. The 4WCBM is easy to install with only (5) screws and features a beautiful dovetail constructed frame, concealed 150 lb. slides for a clean look.
Double check your cabinet's opening (inside dimensions) to allow the best fit. Measure side to side (width), front to back (depth or length), and top to bottom (height). Double check to make sure your product is within measurements and don't forget to take into account any obstructions (plumbing, hinges, etc.). It doesn't seem that big but it's actually really large and holds a lot. It's hidden and sleek. The design makes it easy to clean. I believe the thickness and how well it's made it will last for years to come. Such a cool product.

I love how my trash is now hidden away and I have one less thing out in the open of my kitchen. It helps reduce the cluttered look and updates your kitchen a bit. I did find this kind of hard to install so I took off a star for that.

Didnt work for us
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this as i keep my trash can under my sink. Unfortunately we could not install because of our plumbing. It got in the way. It seems to be able to hold our 13gal trash can just fine.

No More Slammin' Cabinets (or Trash!)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rev-a-shelf pullout trash can insert (model 4wcbm-15-dm-1) is a game-changer for my kitchen! I was tired of wrestling with heavy trash bags and the constant banging of the cabinet door. This system is a dream come true. First off, this thing is built like a tank. The construction is incredibly sturdy, and I have no doubt it will outlast me in the kitchen. Installation was surprisingly easy, thanks to the clear and concise instructions. Even someone with limited DIY skills like myself could handle it. The soft-close mechanism is a lifesaver. No more slamming cabinets and startling the dog! It's a small detail, but it makes a huge difference in the overall kitchen experience. I also love the clever design that includes a space behind the trash can. It's perfect for storing extra bags, and I've even used it for a small recycling bag. The only "negative" (and it's not really a negative) is that you absolutely must measure your cabinet carefully before ordering. I spent a few minutes double-checking, and it fit perfectly. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this product. It's a high-quality product that adds functionality to my kitchen.

Cool concept
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have very mixed emotions about this pull out trash can. On one hand it's very convenient and a huge help being close to the sink and it's nice to have it tucked away and not visible. But on the other hand, we can't bring ourselves to attach our cabinet door to the brackets that help pull out the trash can. It's too awkward to have just one door function that way and the handle is on the side so we decided to just install and take the brackets off.

Pull out Trash

My husband installed it within 20 minutes like it said once he made sure he had everything he needed. It closes softly, so there are no pinching fingers. I'm very thankful to have been able to receive this product!

The slides move in and out so smoothly. The soft close/open is everything my last trash slide out didn’t have. It also fits perfectly in my cabinet! Installation was very easy. Perfect to update a trash bin cabinet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rev-A-Shelf has always been a favorite brand of mine for home cabinetry customization. We recently moved into a home that has an outdated cabinet pullout for the garbage can. Instead of smoothly rolling out on a track, it pulled out and tipped forward by way of two hinges on the bottom. Needless to say, it wasn’t smooth or user friendly. This replacement from Rev-A-Shelf fits the bill perfectly! Would highly recommend for adding or updating a trash bin cabinet/drawer.
