Robert Mondavi Private Selection Red Blend Red Wine showcases ripe, fruit-forward flavors blended primarily from syrah and merlot grapes. This red blend opens with decadent aromas of chocolate-covered cherry, strawberry shortcake, and vanilla bean. On the palate, flavors of strawberry preserves, raspberry tart, cherry cola, and milk chocolate give way to soft tannins with a bright, lingering finish. Malolactic fermentation enhances this California red wine's roundness and depth. Made with grapes from California's best coastal vineyards, this slightly sweet Robert Mondavi wine exudes fresh fruit character and bright acidity. I love a good red wine. This is a bit stronger than most and I'm quite impressed. I didn't want to share, but my friends definitely enjoyed the recommendation. Girls night was a hit with this addition to wine, charcuterie cheese and meat board. Don't forget the olives!
