Robert Mondavi Private Selection Red Blend Red Wine showcases ripe, fruit-forward flavors blended primarily from syrah and merlot grapes. This red blend opens with decadent aromas of chocolate-covered cherry, strawberry shortcake, and vanilla bean. On the palate, flavors of strawberry preserves, raspberry tart, cherry cola, and milk chocolate give way to soft tannins with a bright, lingering finish. Malolactic fermentation enhances this California red wine's roundness and depth. Made with grapes from California's best coastal vineyards, this slightly sweet Robert Mondavi wine exudes fresh fruit character and bright acidity. Pair this full-bodied red wine blend with grilled steak, spicy BBQ, or pasta, or enjoy a glass of wine on its own. Store this 750 mL bottle of wine at room temperature, but refrigerate it for about 30 to 60 minutes before serving cool for optimal taste.
