Q: I know it states that percentage of retinol vaires across your products, but what percentage of retinol does this specific capsules have? I can't find the percentage anywhere.

submitted by Brooke - 5 months ago
  • A: Hello, don’t be misled by percentages! The % of retinol doesn’t tell you how potent a product is or how well it works. The amount of retinol in OTC products will vary greatly depending on what type of retinol is in the formula. For example, retinol esthers – including retinol palmitate, retinol acetate and retinol propionate, are much weaker forms that must be converted to retinol first to be effective, so the percentages vary a lot. You should look for formulas with Pure Retinol, the most potent form of retinol available. Pure RoC Retinol is the most effective retinoid available without a prescription. We have 35+ patents and every RoC product is proven effective in rigorous clinical testing.
