Q: Are the strings nylon or steel?

A: beautiful guitar but steel strings were really hard and even after tuning sounded odd so we returned it.

Q: Hi, is this Rogue starter a Rogue RA-090 model? it's gotta be similiar to it.

A: This will be a smaller concert sized body guitar. The RA-090 model is a dreadnought body, which will be a larger body. This guitar will be better suited to younger or smaller players.

A: Hey, in the details listed, it states "78 scale", which I'm sure is meant to be "7/8 scale", or 38 in. Hope that helps.

A: No this is just an acoustic guitar. There will be no input jack or electronics.

A: You'll probably want a 30" also called 1/2 size. A 3/4 might be a bit too big for a 5yr old. That being said, I'm not really sure what size this is...

The strings are not flush to the guitar so the sound will never be correct. It is essentially unusable.

Great starter guitar! It is pretty small but great for a beginner or a kid/teen. Decent sound for what you get and a nice look! Gifted it for Christmas and it was well received.

Stay away from this guitar. This was bought for my 9 year old for Christmas to learn how to play. It looks nice and sounded nice after being tuned. It lost tune constantly and then after 2 days the bridge started pulling away from the guitar and is completely unusable. I didn’t expect much for the price but I Atleast expected it not to break right away. Spend some extra and get a decent made guitar by a reputable brand.

Beautiful finish and great value for money. Bought as a 2nd practice guitar. Sounds great! This will fit teens great. Couldn't get tuned so took to guitar shop for setup. Now stays in tune beautiful sound for the money. Easy to play. Lightweight.
Stripped truss rod

Took the guitar Guitar Center for adjustments and discovered that the truss rod in the neck is stripped and therefore can't be adjusted. By the time I found this out, the 45 day return window had passed, so Target won't take it back. Target said to call Musician's Friend and Musician's Friend says to call Target. I have called both several times now. I guess I am stuck with a damaged guitar. I'll go elsewhere for my next guitar.

I’d say this is a good instrument for a beginner, Its a good size for me, and not too big. Overall everything looks good and great for a beginner or someone who just wants to play around with it to see if they like it.

I looked online for a guitar for my niece and this one had the best reviews. Thankfully the positive reviews were right! This guitar is really nice and good quality. My husband( who plays )was tuning it and was shocked how good it sounded . He was surprised when I told him the cost. Great deal!!!
