No real problems swapping to inline but not comfortable
We didn't have any issues swapping the quad trucks out for the inline ones. The inline glide just fine, have decent grip indoors. However, even after lots of adjustments, these are incredibly uncomfortable. Ankle support is important, but these squeeze so tightly even with the buckles loose. It causes a lot of pain. I'd return, but the box as already been pitched.

Waste of time and money
DO NOT BUY. Choose any other skates but this brand. They are a literal nightmare to switch from skates to rollerblades. Unless you have countless hours to waste, do not buy these. I don’t wish these on people that I dislike!!

Very poor qaulity product.
Wheels were impossible to switch out and I tried roller skating but the wheels seem to stop rather than glide easily. The inside part comes out of the shoe really easily as well. I think some pairs of screws are looser than other pairs depending on what you buy according to the positive reviews because there’s no way a person could unscrew these without a power tool.

These skates are as advertised. They come with the quad attachment on and the roller blades separate in box and if you are like us you'll want to switch them right away. I read other reviews about how hard it is but this is our second pair of this style and have not had an issue changing the wheel bases. Use an Allen wrench on both sides and it's super easy.

Daughter loves them. The skates roll well. Then being adjustable is huge plus, they will last for some years.

DO NOT BUY
I don’t know why anyone is saying the wheels are easy to switch out. Maybe they got a pair of skates that didn’t have stripped/stuck screws. Or maybe those reviews are AI. In any case, it’s a terrible design. I gave up, thinking it was just me, but my husband also gave up on them. So my kids skated around for a while on the quad skates (which I really prefer, anyway), but the wheels are small, hard, and cheap, and the tow stop is improperly positioned. Overall, I would suggest you not waste your time.

Easy to adjust and put on. We had to return the first pair due to a faulty bearing in one of the skate wheels. Second pair was great.

Look somewhere else.
Could not remove two of the 8 bolts to convert to inline skates. And only one of those were able to be popped back in. Plan on returning to Target.

Could not get screws out to convert to inline
Screws impossible to get out to convert to inline. The Allen wrenches are a little small and the hexagon indent inside the screws got stripped so then it was not possible to unscrew them. I found an Allen wrench that was a little bigger so it fit in the screw better but you need to use 2 at the same time (one on either side) to get the screws out. If you want inline skates, don't get these, just buy ones that are already inline skates. Returning these to the store.

2-1
Easily assembled. And what a great investment having the convenience of both. My daughter loves these 2-1,and enjoys both options.

Don't waste your money
Screws only come off on one side for both skates. The other side is impossible to remove. Cannot convert it to inline. Quads were too slippery. Returned it.

Low Quality
You get what you pay for! Idea is great, but not well made. My husband is strong and knows how to use the Allen wrench, so taking apart the wheels was not a problem, unlike the previous reviews. However, replacing the blades was a challenge. The existing metal ring that locks in the wheels had to come out and slid back in before attaching the wheel, but wouldn’t budge. (I don’t know what the piece is called) The attachments were not made well to easily replace the wheels. My husband ended up getting a cut on his finger and had to wiggle the metal pieces in order to get the wheels in. For the price, it is not a bad product. Just wouldn’t have high expectations in terms of quality. There is barely any coverage and protection on the front of the roller blades. Cheaply made plastic. It’s good enough for my daughter to learn how to roller blade in. Once she gets older, we’ll invest in a nicer pair.

Do not buy unless you only want roller skates.
If you want roller skates, keep them. If you want to change them to rollerblades buy something else. You CANNOT get the screws out at all!!!!!!!!!! What a waste of time. 3 adults tried and couldn’t get them all out. Returning these.
