I bought this for my 3 year old son for his birthday! He’s obsessed with plans and hasn’t got the hang of a bike so this has been amazing for coordination needed for biking! He’s the coolest kid on the block now! I even want one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On is a really great idea because it folds which makes it easier to store places and to take with you if you want to go to the park or something. My 3 year old really liked the airplane design and enjoys riding it around it kitchen. It's very easy to turn around in because it doesn't need to make those wide turns you normally have to make with a regular tricycle. They're a button you have to push and another lever you pull to get it to fold and unfold but it's fairly easy to do so it isn't something that I would avoid doing. It's really easy to put together. My 5 and 3 year old actually put it together when I left the room for just a few minutes. Of course I made sure they did it correctly though and I did have to add the washers too the bottom of the seat and put the nuts back on but other than that they did a great job in probably about 5 minutes time. That's another plus because it's not complicated to put together at all. The seat adjusts to make it better for either shorter or taller children, and there’s even a little covered compartment on the nose of the plane part that’s good for putting in little items or snacks when out and about. All my kids actually love this and happen to be under the 55lb weight limit so my 7 year old loves to ride it and spin it around to turn it too. So far none of my kids have broken anything on it and we've used it for about a month now. They are very rough on everything they use so I can't say with confidence this is very well made. All in all, I really like this ride on toy and would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks to the Stellar product testing panel for providing me with this because we all really love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On (Orange) as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My child is 3 years old and full of energy. He is not quite ready to ride a bike, so this is actually a great way to help my son learn the fine motor skills required to pedal as well as learn how to steer properly. My son is in love with planes right now, so when he sat down into the cockpit of the FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter, he immediately felt like a pilot and the rear swivel wheels really made him feel like he was on a runway, ready to take off! The propellers rotating in the wind really add to my son’s excitement. The Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On (Orange) has been giving my son hours of joy everyday while the weather is still pretty warm. The Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On (Orange) seems to well constructed. The frame is made of steel and the the rest is made of very durable plastic. The wheels have good traction and on pavement and hold up well with sharp turns and maneuvering. I have a small home that has no basement, so space is very important. The The Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On folds up super easily with just simply pressing a button to stow away. It folds enough to fit underneath our bed, which sits rather high but is awesome that is folds just enough to fit. We’ve already taken it with us to family gatherings over the Thanksgiving weekend. It fits easily into our trunk and is light enough to lift with one arm into the trunk. Super light yet very durable. If anything could be added to the Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On, I’d say adding some sounds to the steering wheel would be a nice feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our new favorite toy!! It’s amazing! Both our 4 year old and our 2 year old absolutely love it, both in the house and outside. It was super easy to build (thank goodness) and it folds up to store in the garage really easily. It’s so fun to watch how my 2 year old rides it vs my 4 year old, who does all these fun turns all over the driveway. I highly recommend it in open areas so they can really get good use out of it. Thank you to Stellar Panel for letting us try this awesome toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very excited to try the Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On as part of the Stellar Product Panel given my 3 1/2 year olds fascination with airplanes. Included in the box was a single page notification about charging the product for 24 hours before using. after a solid 30 minutes of combing through the included instruction manual and examining every inch of the fully assembled ride on, we did not find anything resembling a battery nor a charging port on any part of the toy, leading us to believe the battery pack was not included in our package. This was both sad and frustrating as we were under the impression that the two propellers on the front of the ride on would move simultaneously with pedaling. Instead they did nothing, and my child was not interested in using a plane that wouldn’t fly. On a positive note the instructions we did receive were very user friendly making set up very quick and easy. We really enjoyed the sleek design of the ride on toy as well as the highly sensitive steering column which made it easy to course correct directions when out for a spin, particularly for our toddler who is just getting used to tricycles and scooters, which are not as easy to manipulate. Also thought the click to fold feature was very thoughtful and helped make storage a breeze in our hall closet. Our child absolutely loved being able to bank the steering column in a hard right or left when going down hill and spinning into circles given the dual flex back wheel design of the piece: he kept telling us look at me, I’m flying!!! Certainly a very different experience and ultimately type of ride on toy that if it had all the parts would easily have received a higher review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my son love this pedal cart. My son just turned 3 and the pedaling on this cart is a lot easier for him versus something like a tricycle or bicycle where the pedals are far below the seat. It has a really cool airplane design that has propellers and even a little storage area and he usually always has some kind of toy in there with him on the ride. This cart also maneuvers a lot better than any other carts he has had before and he is getting better at being able to steer in around tighter spaces. It doesn’t take up a lot of soace which is one of my favorite design elements to it , it has a button that will help fold the cart up so it takes up way less space than most of the toys he has, and easy to throw in the car and take over to his grandparents house as well. We received this cart to test it out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I can’t say I would change anything about it. Overall the look is great and the colors , the details they went through to make it look cool for kids , the maneuverability and ease of pedaling and steering , and the folding option for storage and travel all works great together! Me and my son would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first received the Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On as our latest new toy to test out from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, both of my preschoolers were totally pumped! They couldn't wait for us to open the box and get to riding. My husband put it together and it only took him 5 minutes or so--extremely easy to assemble, directions were clear and kids were fighting over who got to ride it first. The weather was a little yucky on this day, so we decided to try it out on our laminate floors and it was awesome! My 4 year old and 3 year old took turns riding it around our kitchen and up and down the hallway to the front door. The FLEX Kart is perfect for youngsters who know how to pedal a bike or at least have the pedal mechanism figured out. The kart itself flies and the back wheels make turning and spinning around so much fun! My son said "it's real spinny and so cool!" Stopping is a breeze because the child just puts his or her feet down to stop. There are no complicated levers or buttons to push. The handlebars used for steering are great for little hands without having to turn an entire steering wheel around, which allows for easier turning and spinning. The adorable aeronautical design is super cute and is suitable for boys and girls alike. It also folds up easily for storage and is small enough to fit into a closet or on a shelf in the garage. The thing I love most about this little ride on toy is that it is versatile and can be used both indoor and outdoor; rather than being a seasonal toy that can only be used with nice weather, the FLEX kart can also work well on hardwood or laminate floors without scratching them up. Perfect for those rainy, cold days! We would highly recommend this ride-on toy for any toddlers who love to run, ride and spin around for hours of laughter and fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this ride-on vehicle from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This little drifter is pretty cool. Initially my 3 yr old son had a little trouble with then pedals but after 20 minutes he was good to go. It's definitely different than a tricycle since the the rear wheels allows the tail end to drift and swivel. The folding mechanism does make it a little more compact but it still takes up a fair amount of space. It remains to be seen how much interest my son will still have with this 6 months in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is finally getting to the point where he feels daring enough to ride-on toys by himself. So I was thrilled to receive the pedal Drifter through the stellar panel for him to tryout. His face absolutely lit up when I showed him the box. And as we unpacked it, it was easy to see why he was so excited. The grey and orange plane/trike/scooter hybrid is like nothing I've seen before. It's kind of trike but is back end sits lower to the ground with smaller wheels to allow for drifting. It is quite a sight to see. It beams "cool." We went to the park as soon as we could to try it out with plenty of room, which I think is necessary if you're going to ride this thing. While he ultimately enjoyed his time riding, his mom and I were a little unnerved watching him whip around taking sharp turns, attempting to slow himself down. At it's core, it works well and exactly as intended, but I couldn't help feel like maybe this would be better suited for an older demographic. There's no means of braking if you gain too much speed so you must depend wholly on the drift mechanic which is fine in theory but led to a few close calls when almost toppling over. My son is fit just perfectly in this thing in it's fully extended position so it's hard to imagine smaller kids fairing much better. Wearing a helmet and pads is a must, I think. We loved the design and the concept though. It's also super easy to fold and transport, which is nice when having to travel with things like this. There need to be some means of slowing down. Not necessarily a brake, cause that could cause a topple too probably, but something to just ease the acceleration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and my 3.5 year-old is a big fan! The side-by-side design of the pedals makes it much easier for him to pedal than his tricycle, and it glides very easily so he can spin around in circles. He absolutely loves spinning as fast as he can! The plane design is fun, but I don't think he really recognized that it was supposed to be an airplane. The propellers don't spin unless you spin them manually; motorized propellers or propellers that spin as you pedal would make it even better. I appreciate that the ride-on is not terribly heavy and is simple to fold. Folding it does make it a little easier to store, but it would be nice if it folded up a little bit smaller. Overall, this ride-on is a definite winner; I would highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-on as a member of the Stellar product testing panel. I received the box and was worried at first when I saw that some assembly was required. Based on the size of the box, I had assumed it was already put together. When the top of the box was cut and it's contents revealed, there were more pieces that needed assembly than I had initially thought. But a few minutes later (with the help of a phillips screwdriver), my husband had it put together and it was ready to roll, literally! My kids, aged 5 and 3 quickly fought over who would ride first. It’s cold and snowy here in Michigan, so we gave it a whirl in the living room. But that didn’t detract from any fun they were having. It glided across the floor with ease and I thought the swivel action of it was quite neat. The back wheels allow it to move to the left or right. The younger of the two had a harder time figuring out that she had to pedal forward to move, but was just as happy to push herself along with her feet. And my 5-year-old sat her keester in the seat and pedaled like a professional. They thought it was awesome that it resembled a plane. The appeal of such a design beat that of a traditional bike. They especially enjoyed spinning the propellers and providing the sound effects of a plane engine. After we had a few rounds of turn-taking we tested out the folding feature. It was easy enough to fold, but it does require two hands. While it won’t fit under the bed, it will give you some more space in a closet or in the garage. Overall, it is a treasured new toy in this house. Two toddler thumbs up!

Really neat ride on toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool ride on toy for my little boy! He loves riding his own airplane! I like the way the wheels move in the back, it rides very nicely and is easy to turn. It’s pedal powered at the front of the toy but not like a bike. The wheels do not turn backwards though which I found kind of funny. The toy has the option to fold down for storing. The release in the back is a bit hard to pull and I did pinch my finger a time or two doing it. It is a nice option to have though if you want to bring it with you somewhere! My son is 2.5 yrs old and he has to stretch to reach the pedals and sit a little bit off of the seat. He often uses it by scooting with his feet since that is easier for him at this age. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this ride on vehicle. We love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item to test through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like this toy. At first, it looked a little daunting pulling it out of the box, but it was not as many pieces as it seemed at first. The instructions for assembly were fine, although they mislabeled the screws. I had to swap them out to make the seat fit. This is a very unique ride for young kids. It’s as easy to ride as a tricycle, but has the fun factor of being able to swing the tail out like drifting (probably for the older kids). Mine is a bit too young to fully appreciate this toy, but I am Sure she will grow into it. For now, I push her from behind and try to teach her about pedaling and steering. If there is one thing I would change about this item, it would be the seat. It is labeled as having an adjustable seat, but there are actually only two settings- one close up to the handlebars, and one farther back for bigger kids. If it were infinitely adjustable along the frame, it would be very helpful for smaller kids like mine, who struggle to reach the pedals sometimes. Also, it would be neat if the propellers turned on their own. My kid was very upset and kept making me spin them, which got really old really fast. One thing I really like is the ability to fold up for travel. It actually works very well, for throwing in the back of the car and taking to the park.

Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter is a very cool looking bike-like toy! My three and a half year old is absolutely enamored. My kiddo is really into “flying” in her make-believe play right now, so this toy knocked it out of the park for her. At three and a half she hasn’t quite mastered pedaling yet, but I’m hopeful the Pedal Drifter will be the motivation she needs. The assembly was very simple; I was able to put it together referencing the instructions only once! I love how it folds with ease, to become smaller for transport. (Which is ideal for us, as we don’t have a place to ride around at home, but would go to the park instead.) The only thing I can think to change is pretty small, and that’d be color choices. My girly girl would get a kick out of pink or purple options. Overall I rate this as unique first bike option, great for learning the basics of pedaling, and wonderful imagination fuel! Our family is so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to out the Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter! Thanks! We had a blast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had yet to find a fun outdoor toy for my almost 3 year old as he has a hard time with pedals… Until this! We received this ride-on vehicle from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and could not recommend it more. Putting it together was a breeze! As a mom of two under two with little time to tackle toys that need to be put together, this couldn’t have been easier and took less than 10 minutes. I was extremely impressed with the durability of the pedal drifter, especially because it folds so compact! Usually toys that fold break pretty quickly but this toy is a TANK. Not only that but my toddler took to it right away! He had no trouble using the pedals at all and it was an immediate hit! The seat is adjustable so we were able to fit it perfectly for him and for some reason these pedals are much easier for him than the typical trike. He feels like such a “big boy” showing off with the cool drifts he’s able to accomplish, steering is very smooth and it is easy to handle. It folds up easily with the pull of a level, so it is the perfect toy for traveling or if you live in an upstairs apartment like us. As for the look, it couldn’t be any more awesome! There’s not a time we take it out that we don’t get comments about how cool it is, or asking where we got it. My son loves that it looks like an airplane and the spinning propellers are such a fun addition. Definitely an “IT” toy and must have for any kid 2ish-6! I love watching him play with it, and know it is a toy our family will use and love for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rollplay FLEX Kart Pedal Drifter Ride-On is a great little bike that my kid LOVES. I used to have to talk her into riding one of her other contraptions, but now she is begging me to go on walks so she can ride her plane bike! Her face lights up every time she is on it and I can tell that she is having so much fun. Out of the box it was incredibly easy to construct and the instructions were legible and easy to comprehend, so the bike was put together quickly, despite having a three-year old trying to sit on the bike while I was assembling it. I love the low profile and the fact that the seat has multiple positions. This bike is going to grow with us and get a LOT of use! The steering is smooth and it is easy to pedal (though it can’t really pedal backwards, just forwards). The big wheels in the front and the smaller wheels in the back create stability for my kid, so she can really master pedaling. The back part of the plane can swivel side to side independent of the front, which gives her a little challenge and has not been an issue at all, more, I think, it adds to the fun of the ride. She also loves the little compartment in the front of the bike and I consistently find the most random things hidden there. The propellers, while they can spin, are mostly for show, but that also adds to the fun of the ride. Folding it up did take some getting used to, and is my least favorite part of the bike. It is hard for me to push the button and pull the lever at the same time, and getting it to start the fold can be a little tricky for me. Once you get it going, the folding and unfolding itself are really smooth, though, so it is not a big issue, but if I could change anything it would be to not have to do two things at once to fold it up. Unfolding on the other hand, is a breeze, so there is that. I do really like that it can fold up though, and the bike is much easier to carry when it is in the compact position which means I am more likely to cart it around to other places! Another thing I love about the bike taking up less space is that it is easier to find a place to store it, either in the car or in our cozy apartment. I don’t love the color, but my kid doesn’t care so who am I to judge! All in all, this is a great bike and I am so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing panel for providing me with this bike to test and review!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves this ride on toy. The plane design with the propellers makes it more realistic. This toy has pedals like a bike but the rear wheels allow for 360 spins. My daughter's favorite part is when it spins around. She is 3.5 years old and figured it out quickly how to make it spin. The toy folds up to allow for easy storage and transportation which helps since a lot of ride on toys take up too much storage space. Thanks to Stellar product testing panel for sending us this wonderful toy!
