Different and eye catching
I was curious when I bought this necklace what the backside of the pendant would look like. It lies flat with open sterling silver art work across the back. It is nice and allows the black spinels to shine. The necklace quality is average, the black spinel heart is what you see and are attracted to when it is around your neck. Very pretty, well made, and eye catching. Packaged very well in a long beautiful necklace case.

This is now my favorite necklace! It's stunning!
I just love this necklace. It's gorgeous. I had never heard of Spinel before but I'm a fan of it now. With each movement of the necklace, the light catches on just some of the front facets of the spinel -- so those facets glitter. But the ones that glitter are spread randomly across the heart, so it looks like twinkling stars here and there and the ones glittering change as the necklace moves. It's just stunning -- better than diamonds!

Pretty Necklace
I got this piece for myself and normally wear it with a v-neck black blouse. It is very pretty and nice looking. The heart is substantial but not huge - really the perfect size. It looks like a quality piece and not a cheap one, though the price is great!
