Description
This cool little hard cooler is built with the same-patented design and features of the RollR 60 and 80 and is the perfect companion when space is limited. Built for the path less traveled, the RovR RollR deftly rolls over dirt, sand, and rocks to ensure we have cold beverages at the destination. For off-road adventures, RovR installed large, all-terrain rubber wheels that can handle most trails with ease. Better yet, the RollR boasts ten days of ice retention to keep our goods cool on long camping trips. RovR included a removable, two-compartment Dry Bin for veggies and other items we'd like to keep cool but not wet, and the bear-resistant design gives us some much-needed peace of mind in the great outdoors..

This has to be my favorite cooler! It’s so compact and easy to travel with! It fits soooo much! And I’m shocked at how cool it keeps ice, it’s been a week since i used it and the ice is still inside! This cooler is a must for every occasion!

This cooler is amazing! We bought the 80 and drove for 3 days in July. We never needed to replace the ice. We got this 45 for another road trip.

I received this cooler for Christmas from my husband and it has been the absolute best! I am a travel hockey mom - rolling this in and out of hotels - with the attached tote - is perfect. I took away 1 star because the telescoping handle does not extend past the first click - I have gotten it to extend fully without significant effort.

Loving it. Took it to our first lakeside picnic. I was surprised that it held my five year old. She climbed on top of it while I pulled it back to the car. Built tough!

This cooler has been amazing! Got to use it recently on a camping trip and beach vacation. Rolls over everything and the storage bag holds a ton. Ice holds for a long time. We got 2 days before we needed to top up. Very happy with my purchase.

Rugged cooler with great features

We've had this cooler for about 5 years now and I use it several times a month at the beach or strapping it to the back of our truck and taking it to the lake. It is rugged, takes a beating, keeps frozen goods frozen for hours on the road to get to our remote cabin. Keeps drink and food cold throughout the days on the dock or in the hot sun on the beach. We've bought pretty much all of the accessories and they are fantastic. We've had to replace the handle after banging the other ones to pieces on various stairs. My only complaint, if I had to have one is that it is heavy! But I love it and recommend it to everyone that sees it and asks about it.

Other than the collapsing handle I love this product. It is built well and the storage for a day trip to the beach is perfect. My only gripe is the collapsing handle. It can be little difficult when opening, gets stuck and I have to close it all the all the way. It seems as though if I push on the button really hard it works fine. I totally recommend this product.

I bought this as a way to stop lugging the wagon with alllllll the stuff is travel sports moms need for tournaments. We have covered Hercules (“The Beast” from The Sandlot) with baseball stickers. He’s the best companion ever. The bin holds everything I need from snacks to KT tape. We have the cold packs since I hate losing room to ice. I put one in the night before to cool him down and then the next day replace with a fresh one and he is good to go for the whole weekend. So many moms have stopped me when they see how fast I am able to strap all my stuff to Hercules and go. No more loading and unloading the wagon, folding it up and finally getting out from long day. Best purchase ever!!!

As the title implies, this is a pretty hefty cooler, even when empty. I purchased the RovR 45 when planning a 10 day trip to Arizona. The night before I left, I pre-chilled the cooler with ice packs. I had also frozen half my case of water to help keep things cool. Between that and fresh ice packs, I didn't even think about adding actual ice until about 5 days into my trip. Being a solo female, I left it in the car and most days were around 90 degrees, give or take. So, the fact that I didn't worry about adding ice until halfway through says a lot (in my opinion). After that, I did ultimately add about 20# of ice to finish out the trip. I'm really pleased with my purchase and I feel good about supporting a small, local business.

I do wish the dry compartment could be split and not take up the entire deep end of the cooler when in use. Wish it had the same T bar as the two larger versions. The telescoping handle does not always work smoothly and gets hung up some times.

Best Cooler for the Beach

I got tired of dragging Igloo and Rubbermaid coolers with their tiny hard wheels across the soft sand at the beach. And Yetis are way overrated. So I tried the RollR45. The first day I used the standard wheels and it worked great, but the second day switched to the beach wheels and it was like floating across the sand. This is a great cooler that keeps your stuff as cold or colder than in the refrigerator after 8 hours in the Florida sun. Well built and great customer service. You won't be disappointed!

Great Cooler, Add bottle opener/better handle!

Excellent cooler, love the yellow color. The wheels are excellent and is one of the reasons I got this in place of my Yeti that STAYS on the back porch. Holds ice for 3 days in 100 degrees as a travel softball coach in Texas. For the price, I'd expect to have a bottle opener built in. Handle could be sturdier and will not extend without alot of wiggle and pull.

Hi Shannon, thanks so much for your review! If you are having issues with your telescoping handle, please reach out to customerservice@rovrproducts.com and we would be happy to get a replacement sent your way. For the price, there are actually 6 bottle openers built in! The accessory pins that surround the cooler also act as bottle openers! Cheers, Team RovR

Other reviews criticize the luggage handle on the 45 model. I have the 65 and that handle is better than the 45, no doubt about it. Is it a problem? well, sort of. The 45's handle does not provide enough torsional/rotational resistance. Example: I was pulling the 45 on stones and grass. The left wheel hit a stone (the 65 would have run right over it) and pulled the 45 creating a twist. The handle didn't provide enough resistance and the handle twisted. This caused me to stop and adjust my trajectory. Not a big deal. However, when you have time constraints (I use my 45 for work), or when your hands are full, then this becomes a nuisance. Same issue when I pull the 45 on and off the trailer ramp. I have to square up so that both wheels hit the ramp at the same time or, i encounter the same situation. Now, it sounds like I'm being picky; but consider this: My 65 can bounce down 98 stairs to get to the vacation rental on the edge of one of the finger lakes, in NY state, without any issue. The 65's handle is rigid and can resist rotation forces from an uneven fall from step to step. Image shows the twist. I love RovR!!! Thanks for listening. Cheers!
