A: Mine had absolutely no odor when opened today. It contained an activated charcoal packet and 2 packets of silica gel. They must work well because there is absolutely no odor.

A: There is ALSO a clear film on the back of the earring plastic, that can be removed as well. It is a lot more clear if you remove this film. It is only there to prevent scratching during shipment

Q: says there are x6 screws identical that go into the middle pieces. I received four that are the same and fit and 2 different ones that have bigger head that do not reach. Anyone else have this issue?

Q: DOES THE SINGLE SLAT ABOVE THE 2 BOTTOM RUNGS FACE TGE SAME DIRECTION? ALSO - HOW TO GET MIRROR ON TO THE DOWELS? VERY UNCLEAR INSTRUCTIONS. HAPPY TO REPORT NO FOUL ODOR.

A: 1. To assemble the stand, with a use of a partner, align the two legs parallel to each other. 2. Install 1 middle cross bar with 4 pre-drilled holes using the 2 inserts “B” that go into the large holes, which are then secured by bolts “A” and tightened by an Alen Key. 3. Install 2 base cross bars by placing 4 inserts “B” into large pre-drilled holes and securing them with bolts “A”. Tighten with Alen Key. 4. Once all cross bars are securely tightened, place two wooden dowels in one of the 3 pre-drilled holes on each leg that are right above the middle cross bar. These 2 wooden dowels will act as a stopper for the mirror as it sits on the legs. Dowels can be moved after installing the mirror to give you 3 different angle options.

I’m very disappointed in this product and honestly I wish I hadn’t purchased it. I rarely write bad reviews but as others have mentioned, it smells. We purchased it for my daughter and she likes it but it still smells two months later. I really hope it’s safe to be breathing in. Further, it seemed unstable so my husband wall mounted it but it really does look like a giant medicine cabinet. Now if we take it down we will have to repair the wall. Again, don’t purchase this item.

I bought this armoire, but my dog ran away from it immediately because the smell was so bad. I'm tough and can handle a lot, but this armoire doesn't feel safe. I've placed it outside to air out, but I still don't feel comfortable having it in my home. I'm considering returning it to the store and think TARGET should stop selling it altogether.

This is by far the cutest, reasonably priced jewelry armoire I’ve found thus far! Pros: It’s a light up jewelry armoire with a lock and key! Not much to put together because the armoire itself is already assembled. Cons: it’s heavy as all get out. You WILL need either 1 man or 2 additional women to lift the armoire while you screw the base into the sides. Otherwise you will have a helluva night. Trust me on this. It does have a smell slightly. Hence as to why I left the charcoal bag in my armoire for a few days. (Very scared of the smell getting in some of my jewelry.) I also left the little bags in one of the drawers too. Oh and just a tip, the very top level (the picture where I circled) if you put ANYTHING up there, you won’t be able to fully close let alone lock the darn thing. It’s solely because of where they have the bracelet bar. Other than that, I love it!

I hung necklaces from the rod in the middle and the door won’t close, so I moved them and put bracelets there instead and it still won’t close. Seems pretty non functional. If the knobs weren’t on the ends I could at least use it for rings. It also had a small crack in the top when it arrived.

I love it. It iIS BEAUTIFUL!!! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because it came damage. When you buy something you don’t want a damage item if anything you want to be the one to put the damage on it. This piece is something I want to keep forever, however when it arrives damage you have to wonder how long it will last for. It’s very heavy. After myself and my mom put it together I saw the large crack on the top left corner and the light doesn’t work properly. Because it’s so heavy I didn’t want to hassle with it to bring it to target it’s really heavy for me. I decided to keep it and hopefully ignore the damage. It really is beautiful it arrives in good condition it would have been a 5 star for me.

I was excited to find an armoire that held so many earrings! As soon as I started to pull this out of the box, it smelled terrible. Put it together, put it outside to let it air out, and it still smelled terrible. I had to return it because it made the whole room stink. The charcoal pouch included does absolutely nothing for the smell. It’s a good quality product. I would’ve kept it if it didn’t smell so bad.

Love love love!!!! I was browsing in target the other day for a full length stand up mirror, I came across this and knew it would be great. It’s such a multi purpose item because of all the room inside so your getting an area for storage plus a mirror! It was so easy to assemble and adds such a good vibe to wherever you put it. The inside looked already used even though it was brand new , some of the paint was chipped, has a weird smell that after 2 weeks hasn’t gone away. the door lock was positioned wrong so the lock & keys are completely useless, and the little drawers are super tiny, I was only able to fit a very few things. I didn’t wanna go through the whole return process & no longer had the box so I didn’t return it but if you’re considering buying this , don’t . 🙃
