Q: I absolutely love this bedspread but I see there are long stitches showing throughout the top layer. Are stitches supposed to be visible?

A: I just received this bedspread and I love it! But it had 6 long stitches showing through the top and they looked really bad. Since they didn't look like they were part of the style, I decided to pull one of the loops up (at the top of the bedspread near where the pillows go) and carefully cut it. When I did that, the thread pulled out easily and the bedspread looked fine ... so I did that for all six of the thread loops. Since the online photo of the bedspread doesn't show the loops and because they came out easily, I think they were there to keep things in place during manufacturing / shipping. With the thread loops out, the bedspread is beautiful!

I absolutely love this! I wanted this for an alternative to a bed skirt for our new king bed. This is so much easier than messing with a skirt and it gives just the look I was hoping for. Plus it adds another layer in the winter for warmth or could just be used in the summer as a top cover. I love the brown it’s a great neutral color. I have not washed it though it does recommend dry cleaning, it is kind of wrinkly but I didn’t try to iron but those might be the only downsides.

I Purchased this bedspread and shams at a auction where it was listed as used. However it’s description stated it had never been used on a bed but the package was open. I washed and dried it right out of the package, before I read the fine print on the tag. It went from the dryer to my queen size bed, and it fit perfectly, and laid on my bed with no bunching as I read after the fact that other reviewers claimed. So heres your proof – dry cleaning is not necessary. Which made me so happy, because I clean my spreads much more than I would prefer to take it to a dry cleaner. It’s a beauty and I recommend this purchase.

This bedspread looks charming in the photos. What I didn’t realize until I received them was that I actually own tissue paper thicker than these spreads. I bought white sheets with light gray stars to use on the beds. As you can see in the picture, they completely show through. I’m only giving them 2 stars because Target has a wonderful return policy. Otherwise, no stars except the ones on my sheets!

I really wanted to live this and I did at first. Less than six months after using it, it piled and had knots all over it. It might be great Inna ro where no one sleeps/guest room but as my master bedroom comforter it has been a big disappointment. I've owned it for a year now and looking to buy something new this week.

Cute, but slides around very easily. Hangs down a lot on the floor on full size bed, but nothing crazy. Lightweight and the pillowcases have an extra inch of thickness. Overall very nice
