It works very nicely once I got it down. I thought it would stick to the carpet and I could just turn it over but that didn’t work. I slid it under and was able to get it to work but wasn’t a smooth action. It’s worked perfectly since.

Worked great, no floor damage
I have used for about 6 years, and it kept the rugs in place in our house with dogs and grandkids. Yes, I occasionally had to reapply maybe twice in 6 years, as dirt gets under the rug and affects the stickiness. Just moved. Hardwood floors are not damaged from this tape. We did have to rub the sticky residue off the floor (rubber soled shoe worked fine for that). And no, it is not strong enough to hold down corners that are curled up, it did more of a general “stay in place” solution. Buying more for our new house!

Doesn't work and is hard to apply
Doesn't work and is annoying to use. This doesn't hold down my rug's curling edges. It's also incredibly annoying to use as it's very difficult to remove the platic to reveal the other sticky side. It also messes up the mesh sticky tape when you remove the plastic. I would never buy this again and had to buy something else to replace it so it was a waste of money.

No more slidding
This helps so much. I hate when rugs move. So I move purchased and repurchased this item. If you stick it to the rug itself, you can mo w the rugs and clean underneath for a deep clean. Then set it back down and just walk over the rug and it sticks back.

Doesnt hold for very long, wears out quickly
Doesn't hold after a couple of months. The tape accumulates fibers from the rugs and eventually loses its grip. This has happened with each rug used it on. Spend a little more for the good stuff.

Okay for half a year
This rug tape works for about 6 months and then it just doesn’t cut it anymore. I’m not sure if it is dirt, humidity or just movement on the surface that causes it to lose its hold, but I find myself replacing it more than I expected. However, for some rug situations (like a thin rug in the bathroom) it just seems to be the best option, so until I find something better I will continue to buy it.
