A: This rug tape did not work me at all.my rug was 5x7 and it wouldn't event stick to the rug, let alone hold it in place.

Rug tape can be used for hardwood or carpet for the same desired effect. The safest thing to do would be to contact your flooring manufacturer to make sure that this product is approved for use.

Q: How do you remove this tape from hardwoods? The adhesive is very strong which is good for the rug placement but bad for removal.

Sticks to literally everything but the rug!!! It got stuck on the floor, on itself, and on my hands but not the rug. A waste of money, I recommend something else that is hassle free.

Do not buy this to prevent ripples in your rug. Does an okay job with keeping it in place, but I have a feeling it’ll stop working after awhile. It won’t stick to the bottom of the rug.

We Used The Tape According To The Instructions And Even Put Something Heavy On The Edge Of The Rug Where It Has Been Lifting To Secure The Tape. The Rug Stayed Down For Maybe 24 Hours But Is Back To Bring Lifted On The Edge. Our Application Was A Rug On Carpet, Which It Says It Should Work For.

Gotta be careful to clean carpet and flooring and not touch the tape before placing, but this works great on hard floors to keep the rug in place. Even with 4 energetic dogs running wildly down the stairs and landing on the rug! Buying 3 more for other rugs.
